About Me

  

I am a Los Angeles-based psychotherapist and counselor committed to guiding my clients through a journey of self-improvement and self-discovery. I specialize in supporting clients through trauma, and have extensive training and experience in the subject. As an LGBTQ+ Affirmative therapist I can supports clients of any gender identity or expression.  I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, where I specialized in psychology and mental health. 


I am fortunate to count with a extensive clinical experience that ranges from community mental health; working with individuals and families, to working for the Los Angeles Department of Mental health; where I have been able to work with the most vulnerable members of our community. I am privileged to have a comprehensive career working with trauma, chronic mental illness, mood disorders, as well as personality disorders, and severe psychosis.

 

Some of my training includes: Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adapting Practices, Incredible Years (for parents and young children), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, Seeking Safety, Crisis Oriented Recovery Services, and LGBTQ+ Affirmative services. I have co-facilitated domestic violence support groups, as well as Trauma Focused support groups for individuals with severe multiple traumas. 


I am a LGBTQ+ advocate, lover of animals and I am committed to supporting you as you find your purpose in life.
